Description:
The crocus is a bulbous herbaceous plant native to the East. Its leaves, very thin and dark green and shiny, are crossed by a white stripe in the center. The beautiful flowers, whose length varies from 8 to 15 cm, have the shape of a cup and are composed of 6 tepals.
Care:
Place the crocus bulbs in a cool and very bright place, preferably not in full sun for too many hours a day. The crocus fears only the coldest temperatures. A fairly moist soil is ideal for growing these bulbs, while the best time to plant them is autumn, from late September to mid-November. Bury the bulb at a depth of about 5 cm in the ground and about 5 cm away from each other. The crocus does not like excessive humidity: water it only in the hottest periods, waiting for the soil to dry completely between one irrigation and the other. When planting, you can use a slow-release fertilizer in the soil, but when you notice the first flowers wilt, use a specific fertilizer for bulbous plants: adding it to the water every 15-20 days, you will notice a prolongation of flowering. Flowering normally occurs between the end of winter and the beginning of spring.Crocus blue and white: Beautiful collection of large-flowered crocus in variegated colors, which include white, lilac and the shades of purple.

Crocus blue and white (15 bulbs or 50 bulbs): Beautiful collection of large-flowered crocus in variegated colors, including white, lilac and the shades of purple. Crocus flower record (15): This variety of crocus is characteristic for its large, deep purple flowers and for the orange pistil which, like a fan, rises between its petals. Crocus Jeanne d’arc (15): Among the crocuses with large flowers, the white one is certainly the best known and also one of the most fascinating: planting a large group of them will give you the image of white clouds in the grass! Crocus pickwick (15): This large-flowered crocus species fascinates with the delicate purple streaks that cross the white background offered by the petal. Crocus mix (15/20/50): Beautiful selection of large-flowered crocus with colors ranging from white, to white streaked with purple, to dark purple and yellow. Crocus golden yellow (15): Splendid golden flowers which are of a light purple-brown color at their base. Crocus fuscotinctus (20): This species produces very small golden yellow flowers. It blooms in the end of the winter, even under the snow, or in early spring, giving truly suggestive views. It tolerates extreme temperatures well, both summer and winter, and it reproduces easily. Crocus spring beauty (15): Crocus minimus spring beauty is distinguished by the fact that, while the most consistent part of its petals is a delicate lilac, the outermost part has even lighter colors (almost white), which are embellished with a stripe intense purple that runs through the petals along their entire length. Crocus sieberi firefly (20): The crocus chrysanthus sieberi firefly has flowers with very delicate colors: the white base of the petal gradually fades into shades of pink and lilac, thus giving the flower a very elegant appearance. Crocus prins claus (20): The strong contrast of white and purple colors merged within the same petal is the allure of this beautiful variety of crocus chrysanthus.
