“Queen of Night” is a tulip with long-stemmed flowers with a very dark purple-black, iridescent color. The black tulip, which in the language of flowers assumes the meaning of tolerance, has bulbs that during the vegetative restart, first develop thick and fleshy green leaves, and then in spring, during flowering, on the apexes of the stems appear captivating flowers with dark petals.
Care: It is enough to fertilize in early spring. If it lives in the open ground, water occasionally during the vegetative months, approximately from April to October. If planted in pots, water regularly from March to October. At the end of the vegetative cycle, eliminate the now dry aerial part and extract the bulb from the ground. Then place it in a dark and dry place, and then replant it for the following season.
Sowing: it is necessary to bury the tulip bulbs in the period between October and December: the bulbs do not fear the cold but it is necessary to bury them before any frosts occur so that the bulbs are strengthened becoming more resistant to low temperatures. Bury the tulip bulbs in the ground about 10-20 centimeters deep and at a distance of about 15-20 centimeters from each other.
