GAZANIA VASE 14cm

Gazania is a small one herbaceous plant come on very decorative flowers, belongs to the “Asteraceae” family, which is the largest group of flowering plants among those existing in nature.

Gazania is native to southern Africa. It's a lot loved and appreciated for the beauty and color of the flowers, you can grow both outdoors and in pots and is used to create borders and colored carpets.

Gazania blooms from June until the end of summer. The flowers are very similar to daisies and are gathered in a flower head of different colors. Flowering in optimal conditions is a lot abundant.

CARE

Gazanias need of a lot of sun, find for them in a bright place possibly in direct light Of sun. The ideal temperature for the good growth of this plant is from 16 to 22 degrees, it tolerates the heat quite well and also withstands periods of drought but does not tolerate cold and frosts.

Any type of soil will do for them, for optimal growth use a soft, well-drained one, a mix of peat and sand, make sure the drainage works well.

Gazania needs abundant fertilization, so from March to October use liquid fertilizer in the water every 20 days. They don't need excessive pruning is enough remove dried leaves and flowers and damaged parts.
