Dracena - Dracaena Overig Tropical plant

LA Dracena or in Latin Dracaena is a plant with an erect stem that adapts very well to closed environments.

the dracena is a tropical plant from the origins of East Africa or in particular from the Canaries that in well-lit closed environments can grow to heights of more than 2 meters in height.

Evergreen plants can be recognized by the characteristic green tufts at the ends of each branch.

There are dracene of different varieties with different gradation of color, this is the one with the characteristic intense green leaves.

In nature, among the large elongated leaves, small fragrant flowers also bloom, gathered in thin spikes, sometimes pendulous; these flowers are hardly produced by plants grown in pots, even if sometimes it happens, in spring, spreading a very intense and pleasant scent in the air of the apartment.

The name derives from the fact that a resin used as a dye has been extracted from one of the species, dracaena draco, to obtain the dragon's blood shade.

Curiosities and other information: some species are sold under the name of "log of happiness"; thin and twisted twigs instead receive the name of "lucky bamboo"

In the 7cm pot its minimum height is 25cm (including the pot)
