Pintos are piebald horses,known primarily as Indian and Western horses. Pintos have unique,beautiful fur designs that add even more personality to the horses, yet the pintos do not breed in their own right. The coat patterns are distinguished by Overo and Tobiano. Overos have a colored coat with white spikes, and their heads are often completely white, called a lantern. Tobianos, however, have a white coat with colored patches. Legs and back are mostly white.
