Gorilla male schleich

With the gorillas a new, very popular monkey family appears in the Schleich program. Gorillas are the largest living apes. They live secluded in the jungles of Africa. They almost only eat plants. Gorillas are the largest living representatives of the ape family. Despite their pronounced canines and their muscular bodies, they feed almost exclusively on vegetable diet. Males are significantly larger than females. The habitat of gorillas in the Central African jungle is increasingly limited by the spread of humans. Therefore there is only a small stock of these shy as well as fascinating animals. They are threatened with extinction.
