Tulip bulbs Greigii

Description and care:

These bulbs must be planted between October and December, preferably in fertile and well-drained soils (they cannot withstand excessive humidity) and in a sunny or slightly shaded position.

The distance between the bulbs should be about 12 cm, while the depth about 10 cm.

During growth it is advisable to water in moderation.

The enchanting flowering is late and occurs around April-May with surprising results: the Johann Strauss variety, in fact, is particular due to the color of the petals in which cream yellow and the brightest yellow are harmoniously combined, with some brushstrokes of red. In the Fun Colors variety, on the other hand, the flowers have a variegated color, ranging from yellow, to pink and red, with beautiful shades within each petal. One of the most us is the Red Riding Hood variety which, with the bright red color of its petals, is able to instantly attract attention. Finally, a mix of tulips of the Greigii species is also available, with magnificent flowers in variegated colors, with shades of red and white. These tulips are ideal for catching attention in the garden, but also on the balcony!

For a greater visual impact it is advisable to plant them in groups of the same species or even mixed with other flower bulbs. Also wonderful as a cut flower!

NB: keep in a dry place until the moment of cultivation.
